Today, June 14, is Flag Day, the 228th Birthday of the American Flag
There are many ways to honor our Flag and find out how to display it, if you don't already.

This is also the 230th Birthday of the United States Army , a fitting coincidence. Now, especially is the time to honor our soldiers and all service members who ensure that ...our Flag is still there

The third Cotillion Ball is up, this week hosted by: Denita, Right Girl and Darleen.
A look around indicates that the ladies have surpassed themselves this week. There are just too many great posts to list, so you know what to do. Looks like my window trim will wait another day.

It's Monday, OMG!

Not actually AWOL, just a bit distracted. I simultaneously engaged in replacing the windows in the house and began guest-blogging over at Rosemary's Love America First.

This gracious lady also maintains two other excellent sites at MyNewznIdeas and Causes of Interest, which provides a vital view upon the political and humanitarian condition of Africa. There will be much said about this in future.
